The Library
The Library of RRISL at Dartonfield was established in 1953 with the responsibility of providing the information needs of the rubber sector. The Ratmalana Library was setup in 1975 and the collection of books & Periodicals on rubber technology was shifted to the Ratmalana Library. The prime objective of the library is to provide information to scientists, extension officers and general public to do research to perform the research & development work efficiently.

chaniwijesekara@gmail.comMrs Chanika Wijesekara is currently working as the Librarian & Publication Officer. She obtained her BA Special Degree in Libraray & Information Science from University of Kelaniya in 2015 with a Second Class (Upper Division) Honours. She has completed Diploma in Tamil (Basic Course) at Institute of Human Resource Advancement from University of Colombo in 2017. She has completed her MSSc Degree from University of Kelaniya in 2019. She has published more than 08 research articles in journals, bulletins and local and international conference proceedings.
